Breast Implant / Procedure Description
- It is a day care surgery done under General Anesthesia or Local Anesthesia. One needs to stay at the clinic for few hours only after implant surgery.
- A small incision is made below the breasts ( Inframammary ), around the Areola ( Peri-Areolar ) or in your arm pit ( Axillary ). Then, a Silicon Implant is inserted either under the mammary gland or under both the mammary gland and the underlying muscle for Breast Augmentation.
- After making an incision a pocket is created below the breast gland or Below the Pectoral muscles.
- Silicon Implant is pushed in to the pocket and incision is closed.
- With the use of Funnels, Silicon implants can be pushed into Breast pocket safely and through smaller incisions.
